South Africa once again justified the tag chokers. They are the one team that choked at crucial junctures and in a must-win game, they failed to cross the line. With the loss against the Netherlands, South Africa was technically out of the tournament, and India qualified for the semifinals.
The second spot will be taken by either Pakistan or Bangladesh, which team wins the clash. If the match gets abandoned due to rain then South Africa has a chance to qualify but it seems out of the equation now as the weather is good to play.
India will clash with Zimbabwe in today’s match. Their spot in the points table will be decided by this clash. If they managed to beat Zimbabwe as expected, they will retain the top spot and clash with England in the Semi-Finals. We have to wait for a few more hours for the exact spots.
