India has clinched the series against Australia. It is an incredible feat for Team India to bounce back after their defeat in Mohali. Winning the toss, Rohit Sharma opted to field first in the third T20I in Hyderabad. Being a batting-friendly ground, Australia took advantage of the powerplay. Especially Cameron Green took Indian bowlers to the cleaners. He scored 50 in just 19 balls becoming the fastest vs India to score a half-century.
Then spinners came back and pulled things back. However, Tim David made sure the match was still competitive. Australia managed to score 186 runs. Chasing a tricky total, KL Rahul fell in the first over. Rohit Sharma couldn’t add much as well. But it was the partnership between Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav that changed the course of the match. Especially SKY proved why he is a class apart.
