It is known that BCCI made it clear that India will not travel to Pakistan for the next Asia Cup that will be hosted by Pakistan. PCB’s old chairman Ramiz Raja stated that Pakistan will boycott the upcoming ODI World Cup that will be hosted by India if it is not willing to come to Pakistan.

However, PCB’s new chairman Najam Sethi responded to the issue. The choice to send the Pakistan Cricket Team to India is not in the hands of the PCB but it’s the government’s decision. “We will not be traveling if the government tells us not to. Decision on whether to tour or not solely depends on the government’s decisions for both nations. We can only seek clarification with the PCB,” he said.

Regarding the Asia Cup, he said that he will speak with the ACC to clarify the matter.
