Australian aggressive batter Matthew Hayden was hired as the mentor for the T20 world cup 2021. Pakistan made it to the semifinals of the tournament beating the likes of India quite comprehensively. Now, Pakistan Cricket Board has made an official announcement that it rehired the legendary batsman as the mentor for the upcoming T20 world cup as well.
The ex-Australian batsman will join the Pakistan team on October 15th in Brisbane after the team wraps up their tri-series against New Zealand and Bangladesh. Already, Shaun Tait is serving as Pakistan’s bowling coach, and now with Hayden back with the Pakistan camp, they are getting a lot of Australian coaching.
Matthew Hayden has expressed his happiness to be with the side once again and he said that he is quite happy with the team’s performance in the ongoing Asia Cup.
