New Chapter in Indian Women’s Cricket – WPL to flag off today

It will be a new chapter in the Indian Women’s Cricket team as the Women’s Premier League is finally all set to get started. The two biggest investors in the league Adani-owned Gujarat Giants and Ambani‘s Mumbai Indians will go head-to-head in the inaugural contest. The first match will be played at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on Saturday.

Like the Indian Premier League, the Women’s Premier League is all set to be kickstarted on a whole new level and the buzzing has been on a different level altogether. Harmanpreet Kaur is all set to captain the Mumbai side, while Beth Mooney will captain the Gujarat side. Here’s the predictable playing XI of both sides.
