The Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is all likely to miss the Indian Premier League 2023 if the close sources are to be believed. The road to recovery for Bumrah is taking more time than expected and the wait might continue. Apart from IPL, there is even a possibility that Bumrah might be missing the WTC final that will happen in June; should India qualify.
Jasprit Bumrah is already out of action for over five months and is still not feeling comfortable, says the sources. It further suggests that the new target for Bumrah is to get ready for the World Cup that will happen in October-November. If all goes well, he will be ready for Asia Cup which will help him as a preparatory for the World Cup.
Bumrah last played an International match in September against Australia and then subsequently missed all the action since then. NCA is not going to rush him into action in a hurry.
