Gujarat Titans have shown their supremacy in the second qualifier over Mumbai Indians in the second qualifier which was played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. MI captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and Mumbai chose to field first. Saha and Gill opened the innings with confidence. Though Saha fell, Gill continued on where he left. He was dropped on 30 which helped him immensely. Sai Sudarshan gave him good company. Shubhman Gill in particular was merciless on the bowlers as he scored a brilliant hundred. Gill scored 129 in just 60 balls. Hardik Pandya scored 28 in just 13 balls. With this, the team’s total skyrocketed to 233 runs.

Chasing a mammoth total of 234 runs, MI haven’t got their best playing XI as Ishan Kishan has to be substituted by Vishnu Vinod after he injured his left eye. Even Rohit Sharma and Cameron Green were not a hundred percent fit. Rohit Sharma once again failed to score big. Cameron scored 30 runs. Tilak Varma took on Shami in an over and scored 24 runs. Even SKY scored a fluent 50 but they were not all sufficient. In the end, MI was bundled out for 171.
