MS Dhoni tried his best to win the match against Rajasthan Royals but he had too much to do at the end. With 40 to get in the last two overs is a hectic task for any player but Jadeja and MS Dhoni were up for it. They scored 19 in the 19th over with 21 to get in the last over. MS Dhoni is on the strike and he has done this for many years.
MS Dhoni has looked ominous in the last overs hitting two sixes in Sandeep Sharma’s bowling. However, Sandeep Sharma nailed a perfect yorker of the last ball where the ball went for a single and thus, RR won the match by 3 runs. It is their first win in Chepauk after 2008.
Earlier, batting first, Rajasthan Royals got a superb start with Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal has been in good touch. At one stage, RR seemed to go over 180 but good bowling at the end by CSK means RR finished with just 175.
