Delhi Capitals, however, seemed confident coming into the match. Delhi Capitals have won the toss and decided to bowl first. Ishant Sharma was taken into the playing XI and that proved to be a decisive move.
Ishant Sharma bowled a beautiful spell of 4 overs 19 runs for 2 wickets. Kolkata Knight Riders had one of the worst powerplays as they lost three wickets in the powerplay and there is no respite for them. If not for Russell’s three sixes in the last over, Kolkata wouldn’t have reached 127 as well.
Chasing a modest total, Delhi started their chase confidently. David Warner, in particular, took the team to a flier. Though Prithvi Shaw fell early, he held one end. However, Warner’s wicket brought tension to Delhi’s camp. However, Axar Patel stayed till the end and made sure nothing goes out of hand.
