The match between LSG and PBKS turned out to be a low-scoring match with both the teams succumbed batting failures. Lucknow Super Giants batted first and scored just 153 runs. The score would have been very low if not for the lower-order contribution. Holder, Chameera, and Mohsin Khan contributed to the team apart from the top score de Kock and Deepak Hooda. Rabada was the pick of the bowlers with four wickets. Sandeep Sharma, Arshdeep Singh, and Rahul Chahar bowled very well.
Chasing an under-par score, Punjab Kings hasn’t got a good start. Mayank Agarwal fell after a nice 25. Dhawan struggles to get going. Some contributions here and there from Bairstow, Livingstone and Rishi Dhawan aren’t sufficient as Punjab Kings fell short by 20 runs. Mohsin Khan picked three wickets while Chameera and Krunal Pandya bagged two wickets each. Krunal was adjudged the player of the match.
