India clean swept New Zealand on the home turf. In the high-scoring match against New Zealand at Indore, India posted a massive total of 385 batting first and successfully defended the total thanks to Shardul Thakur and Kuldeep Yadav who picked three wickets each.

The openers set the platform for India with centuries and a double-century stand. Though there was a collapse in the middle order, Hardik Pandya’s half-century and Shardul Thakur’s handy cameo hands India a massive total. Despite Conway’s brilliant hundred and a couple of useful knocks, NZ couldn’t get the momentum it wanted.

With this clean sweep, India topped the ODI rankings. Prior to this game, all three teams, India, New Zealand, and England were tied with 113 points on top. Now, India was on top with 114 points while England stay at the second spot and New Zealand slipped to the fourth spot.
