Dubai: Dubai is set for a cricketing spectacle as India takes on New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on March 9 (Sunday) at 1 PM (09:00 GMT). After 14 matches and 18 days of intense competition, the two powerhouses will battle for the coveted title.
The venue was decided after India refused to travel to Pakistan, leading to a neutral arrangement for their matches. Pakistan, the original host, opted to stage India’s matches, including the final, in Dubai.

India enters the final unbeaten, boasting wins over Bangladesh, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Australia. Meanwhile, New Zealand overcame Pakistan, Bangladesh, and South Africa but fell short against India. Key players include Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill for India, while Kane Williamson and Matt Henry will be crucial for New Zealand.
The Dubai pitch is expected to be slow, favoring spinners. With clear skies and a high of 34°C, conditions will test both teams. The winners will take home $2.24 million, while the runners-up will receive $1.12 million.
India leads the head-to-head record, but New Zealand seeks redemption. A thrilling contest awaits!
