India vs New Zealand T20 series had a weird ending. All three matches of the T20 series have been affected and the third one was decided based on the DLS. Batting first New Zealand scored 160 in their 20 overs. At one stage, New Zealand looked like they could score over 180 but the brilliance of Arshdeep Singh and Siraj, in particular, means NZ lost wickets in tandem.

As a result, NZ could only manage 160 and lost all the wickets. Chasing a modest total, India struggled as well. Ishan Kishan fell early and Rishabh Pant lost his wicket playing an audacious shot. Shreyas Iyer fell next ball. It was captain Hardik Pandya who held one end up and Deepak Hooda gave some company. By the end of 9 overs, India managed 75 runs which was DLS par total.

So, surprisingly the match ended in a tie as the rain haven’t stopped by the stipulated time. The series thus was won by India 1-0.
