India clean-swept New Zealand in the ODI series 3-0. Now, the focus shifts to the T20Is where the seniors Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli will not be present. Also, the likes of KL Rahul, Axar Patel, and Shreyas Iyer were unavailable due to personal reasons. So, it will be a chance for the youngsters to set up.
Hardik Pandya will once again lead the side with the second-string squad. The captain has already confirmed Shubman Gill will open the innings along with Ishan Kishan. It will be a good chance for Rahul Tripathi who hasn’t got the correct chances in the Sri Lanka series. The middle order will be followed by the likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Deepak Hooda, and Washington Sundar.
