The injured Rohit Sharma will miss the second test versus Bangladesh which will be played in Dhaka. It is known that Rohit Sharma’s thumb was injured after attempting a catch in the second ODI. Despite his injury, Rohit Sharma batted with stitches to his hand. He almost made India cross the line.
After the ODI, he returned to Mumbai and addressed his injury. KL Rahul lead the side in Rohit Sharma’s absence. India won the first test quite comfortably. The second test will start on 22nd December.
The BCCI management has revealed that Rohit’s thumb has not fully healed and he is suffering from a little bit of stiffness. Considering the important assignments India has ahead, the management couldn’t risk playing Rohit in the second test. KL Rahul will continue to lead the side.
