Brazilian Football legend Pele’s health deteriorates. His family gathers at the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo. Pele has been getting treated in the same hospital since late November. The footballer was diagnosed with cancer and the hospital authorities states that the cancer had advanced. He is aged 82 years. Pele’s medical history says that a tumor has been removed from the colon in September.
His daughter, Kely Cristina Nascimento, and son, Edinho along with the other family members have spent their Christmas at the hospital. Kely Nascimento on Instagram posted a picture where almost all the family members were present. “Almost all of them. Merry Christmas. Gratitude, love, togetherness, family” she wrote.
Edinho posted a picture of himself holding his father’s hand on the hospital bed and wrote “Father… my strength is yours.”
It is known that Pele’s Colon Cancer was detected in September 2021.
