Team India’s premium fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been facing back stress for a long time. He returned into the mix after a long layoff and played the last two T20Is against Australia. Jasprit Bumrah was in off colors in both matches. He didn’t travel with the team to Trivandrum for the first T20 against South Africa.
BCCI officially revealed that Bumrah complained of back pain and hence he was ruled out of the first T20I. Now, BCCI sources are revealing that Jasprit Bumrah might miss the upcoming T20 world cup as the back stress is haunting him. Though surgery is not needed, the medical team has advised at least three months of rest for the fast bowler.
If the news turns out to be true, it will be a huge blow for Team India’s chances to win the title as Bumrah is their premium fast bowler.
