BCCI chief national selector Chetan Sharma has resigned from his post. According to the media reports, Chetan Sharma has sent his resignation to BCCI Secretary Jay Shah to which the latter accepted it.
This resignation came after a sting operation that surfaced on social media where the chief selector shared details about internal conflicts within the team, the selection process, and other sensitive things.
In the video, Chetan Sharma said that Virat Kohli thought he was bigger than the game and tried to defame Saurav Ganguly the then BCCI President.
Chetan Sharma has also said that there were no disputes between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma and each other backed the others in tough times.
