Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh has made a huge leap in the ICC T20 rankings, entering the top 10 for the first time. He rose eight places to secure the 8th spot, making him the only Indian bowler in the top 10.
Meanwhile, Washington Sundar improved four positions, now ranking 35th. Leading the rankings is England spinner Adil Rashid.
In the all-rounders’ category, Hardik Pandya climbed four places to third, while Axar Patel remains at 11th.
Arshdeep Singh’s impressive performance in the first T20 match against Bangladesh, where he took 3 wickets for 14 runs, helped boost his ranking. Hardik Pandya also shined in that match, scoring 39 runs off just 16 balls, including five fours and two sixes, quickly finishing the game.
