England board has announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 world cup. Jos Buttler will remain the captain for this squad and the notable miss we can notice in the squad is England’s dashing opener Jason Roy who has been out of form badly. England star allrounder Ben Stokes returns to the squad. He last featured in a T20I in March 2021.

The same squad will first contest against the Australian tour that commences next month. The same squad will compete for the coveted cup. England Cricket Board has also mentioned three reserves along with the squad – Tymal Mills, Liam Dawson, and Richard Gleeson.

England’s star pacers Chris Woakes and Mark Wood recovered from their respective injuries and have been straightaway inducted into the squad.
