Kollywood star hero Siva Karthikeyan came before the audience with the movie Prince. He teamed up with Jathi Ratnalu fame Anudeep KV. The movie was released today. Let us check out the review.

Story:
Viswanatham (Satya Raj) is an open-minded man who wants to eradicate caste discrimination. Anand (Siva Karthikeyan) is a school teacher who bunks at the school to watch movies. He falls in love with Jessica (Maria Ryaboshapka), a British girl.

While Anand thought his father wouldn’t have any objection, actually Viswanatham had a problem and says no to their marriage. The rest of the story is about how Anand convinces his father to the marriage.

Performances:
Siva Karthikeyan is a simple guy and he picks up breezy subjects. He plays lovable characters. However, Anand in Prince is not so lovable. There is nothing special in the character. However, Siva Karthikeyan tried his best to elevate his character. He does well.

Ukrainian beauty Maria Ryaboshapka is so lovely to watch. We fall in love with her cuteness. Her role could’ve been much better. Satya Raj plays an interesting character. The scenes between Satya Raj and Siva Karthikeyan work well. Premgi and Anandraj are fine in their roles.

Technicalities:
Music by SS Thaman is fine. His two songs are chartbusters already. His background music is on the spot. He gave his best. The cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa is beautiful. He took care of every frame in his style. Editing is okay. The production values are neat.

Anudeep tried another slap-stick, silly comedy film after Jathi Ratnalu. However, the mark is missed here. Though the style is the same, the setup and the tone are not. Only a few laughs here and there will be in the movie.

Analysis:
Anudeep KV has followed the same template as Jathi Ratnalu with silly writing. However, the plus points of that film worked negatively here. The scenes don’t have any purpose. The writing is at its silliest best. Apart from a few laughs and Siva Karthikeyan’s performance, there is nothing to boast about this flick.

Rating: 2.25/5
