King Khan Shahrukh Khan has been missing in action for a long time. His fans are looking for big-time from him and Pathaan has raised the right expectations. With a massive buzz, Pathaan was released worldwide today. Check out the review.

Story:

Jim (John Abraham) is an ex-RAW agent but is now turned, into a terrorist. To stop him Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan), an undercover agent comes into the picture. Jim inaugurates the private terrorist organization Outfit X and hires Rubina (Deepika Padukone) for a mission called Rakhtbeej. Will Pathaan be successful in aborting the mission? What happens next?

Performances:

SRK is back and how. He is at his usual best. Shahrukh makes sure he will not make our eyes let go of him, when on-screen. He gives a power-packed performance. Be it in action or in romance, SRK is the best.

We might expect Deepika to be confined to a glam role. Though he scorched the screen with her glamour, she got the opportunity to act. She was an integral part of the movie and did well. John Abraham is good in a ruthless terrorist role. He gives a stellar performance as well.

Wait for the blasting cameo at the end after the credits.

Technicalities:

Technically, Pathaan is rich. First, we must talk about the songs and action sequences. Those were too good. There are a lot of action sequences that are at the Hollywood level. The cinematography stands out. Dialogues are fine. Dubbing is done well. The production values are top-notch. Editing could have been better.

Siddharth Anand who is known for his action thrillers comes up with another riveting setup. Pathaan makes us excited toward the end. The first half has very little to offer but the second half makes us satisfied. The end credits are just fire.

Analysis:

Pathaan is a well-etched action thriller. SRK will be back with this film with a back. Box Office numbers are going to be super strong. However, Pathaan comes up with complaints as well. There is not much exciting story other than the well-designed action sequences and over-glamorous songs. Lack of emotional connection plays spoilsport as well.

Nevertheless, SRK made sure his fans will be satisfied. Overall, Pathaan is a decently made action thriller that will cater to SRK fans and the masses.
