Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu has been tested COVID positive and his office has officially declared the news. Venkaiah Naidu is currently in his home in Hyderabad and he will stay there for a week as he is in isolation. The official handle of the Vice President’s secretariat has advised those who came in contact with the Vice President to isolate themselves and get them tested.
The tweet from Secretariat reads, “The Vice President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, who is in Hyderabad, tested COVID positive today. He has decided to remain in self-isolation for a week. He has advised all those who came in contact with him to isolate themselves and get tested.”
Venkaiah Naidu has arrived in Hyderabad on the 21st of this month after three days visit to Vishakapatnam. Earlier in the day, he offered tribute to the portrait of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 125th Birth Anniversary.
