Reports indicate that Turaka Kishore had been evading arrest since May 22 after being implicated in electoral violence and other criminal activities. Sources revealed that he had been staying with his brother in Bengaluru while occasionally traveling to Hyderabad. Acting on intelligence that Kishore was meeting Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, a police team led by SI Shafi apprehended him.

Turaka Kishore faces charges in over ten cases, including three murder attempts. He is accused of leading violent attacks against TDP leaders during local body elections, including a high-profile assault on TDP leaders Bonda Uma and Buddha Venkanna. The infamous incident, captured on video, stirred statewide outrage.

Additionally, Turaka Kishore is the prime accused in the 2022 arson attack on the TDP office in Macherla and several other violent incidents. The police are currently interrogating him and are expected to present him in court on Monday.
