Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced the launch of a new MSME policy aimed at boosting industries and creating job opportunities for every student. Revanth Reddy highlighted that all efforts are focused on the state’s future, with a commitment to supporting youth investment in agriculture and industries.
Revanth Reddy recalled PV Narasimha Rao’s pivotal economic policies during challenging times, which helped India compete globally. He stressed the importance of policy development for state progress and highlighted ongoing initiatives for skill enhancement among students. The government plans to cover past subsidies for industries and remains a leader in COVID vaccine production.
Revanth Reddy reaffirmed support for the IT and pharmaceutical sectors, aiming to provide employment to the thousands of engineering graduates annually. He highlighted that agriculture should be seen as a celebration, not a burden, citing the release of Rs 18,000 crores to clear farmers’ loans.
The government will also ensure essential resources like land and water for industries, enhance tourism at the Musi River, and focus on the development of Dalits, tribals, and women. Efforts are also underway to improve government schools.
