The Supreme Court has passed a key judgment regarding the trial of the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case. The apex court has agreed with the concerns raised by his wife and daughter regarding the fair trial and has now transferred the trial of murder from AP to CBI Special Court, Hyderabad.
A bench comprising Justice MR Shah and Justice MM Sundresh ordered the transfer on a petition filed by Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter Suneetha. It is known that it was in March 2019, Vivekananda Reddy was brutally stabbed to death at his residence in Pulivendula, Kadapa.
