There have been numerous speculations that for the coming 2024 general elections Telugu Desam Party and NDA are going to join hands. It is known that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is going to contest along with NDA in Andhra Pradesh and Pawan Kalyan on numerous occasions already revealed that he will join hands with anyone for bringing down YSRCP from power. “I don’t want anti-YSRCP votes to split,” he said.
So considering the larger picture everyone thought that there would be an alliance of TDP-Jana Sena-BJP in the state. However, T-BJP leaders, today stated that NDA would not contest with TDP and dismissed the rumors.
Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu broke the silence regarding this. He said, “Let the rumormongers who spread the speculations answer this question.” Chandrababu Naidu cleverly escaped the question.
In the same press conference, he said that neglecting the party and concentrating more on governance was a mistake on his side and once TDP comes into power again, then he would carry both governance and the party together.
