Jr. NTR today issued a statement regarding the name change of the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. Though he condemned the act of rechristening the University, his statement seemed like a diplomatic one and he termed both NTR and YSR the same. This didn’t go well with the TDP and Nandamuri fans. They were disappointed with the NTR’s statement which is more like a balancing one.
However, his elder brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has responded to the issue and his on-the-point statement has made fans feel better. He remembered how this university with such a vast history had given so many doctors to the nation. He stated Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences is the best in the country.
“Irrespective of the governments, this university is continuing its journey and today the name change is hurting me. Using this university which connects with many emotions for political gains is absolutely wrong,” he said.
