Hyderabad: All 57 metro stations across the red, blue, and green line corridors of Hyderabad Metro Rail have been awarded the prestigious Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) Green Existing MRTS Platinum certification. L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad (L&TMRHL) announced this milestone yesterday, highlighting its commitment to sustainable urban transportation.

The IGBC Platinum certification is the highest recognition in sustainable construction and operations, reflecting excellence in energy efficiency, eco-friendly design, and resource conservation. The certification was presented to L&TMRHL during the Green Building Congress 2024, recently hosted by IGBC in Bengaluru.
