Araku: Tourists visiting Araku Valley can now enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the region from the sky, thanks to the newly launched hot air balloon rides. Spearheaded by Paderu ITDA Project Officer Abhishek, a successful trial run of the hot air balloon was recently conducted at Padmapuram Gardens in Alluri Sitarama Raju district’s Araku mandal.
Starting from October 22, the hot air balloon rides are officially available to the public at Padmapuram Gardens. According to organizer Gattla Santosh, the rides will be available in two sessions: from 6 AM to 11 AM and from 4 PM to 10 PM. Tourists can ascend to a height of 300 feet, offering a panoramic view of the lush Araku Valley.
Each ride is priced at Rs 1,500 per person, allowing tourists a unique opportunity to experience the valley’s scenic landscape from above. The initiative is expected to attract more visitors and enhance the overall tourism experience in the region. Organizers are optimistic that this aerial adventure will become a popular attraction for both domestic and international tourists exploring Araku’s natural beauty.
