Hyderabad: The Group 1 exams in Telangana are set to proceed today despite major concerns and protests from several candidates in Hyderabad over the past few days.

In response, the Telangana State Police Commission and Hyderabad City Police have deployed substantial security across all 46 Group 1 exam centers in the city. Section 144, under the BNSS 163 regulation, has been enforced around the centers to prevent any further protests. According to these regulations, no one, apart from candidates, will be allowed within 200 meters of the exam premises.
The police commission has also ensured that each exam center will be manned by a sub-inspector, a lady constable, and six additional constables to maintain order. Furthermore, high-security CCTV cameras have been installed in the exam halls and other key areas of the centers.
