Amaravati: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has set an ambitious goal to make every citizen of Andhra Pradesh digitally literate, directing officials to accelerate efforts toward this vision.

Expanding Digital Access
At a review meeting on People’s Perception and Real-Time Governance System (RTGS) held at the Secretariat, CM Naidu emphasized WhatsApp Governance as a key tool for citizens to access government services conveniently. He instructed officials to enhance public awareness and adoption of this system by integrating QR code-based access and a voice-based complaint feature for the illiterate.
Scaling WhatsApp Governance
- Current Services: 200 government services available
- By March-End: 150 more services (Total: 350)
- Next Phase: Expansion to 500 services
- Future Vision: AI-driven integration under “One State, One App”
Public Satisfaction & Accountability
Officials presented public feedback reports highlighting:
- Anna Canteens: 90% satisfaction with food, 96% approval for cleanliness
- Pension Distribution: 82.5% satisfaction with staff conduct
CM Naidu urged officials to address public concerns where dissatisfaction exists and ensure efficient governance.
Looking Ahead
The CM also reviewed the progress of the state’s data lake project, set for phase-one completion by May, emphasizing the adoption of global best practices.
Key attendees included ministers P Narayana, K Atchannaidu, Vangalapudi Anita, Kondapalli Srinivas, and Chief Secretary K Vijayanand among other top officials.
