Amaravati: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced that from September 5, essential kits and discounted vegetables will be provided to flood-affected families. Every family, regardless of wealth, will also receive milk, biscuits, and drinking water.
The government is working on both state and central schemes to help those who lost their homes and businesses. Chandrababu Naidu assured quick repairs of houses, appliances, and furniture and mentioned that fire engines are being used to clean houses.

QR codes were provided for donations, raising Rs 99.25 lakh on September 4 alone.
Chandrababu Naidu instructed strict action against anyone overcharging for essentials. Vegetables will be sold at low rates through mobile markets, with prices starting at Rs 2. Relief packages, clean drinking water, and medical camps have been set up.
The government is working to restore electricity and provide safe drinking water, while more aid continues to pour in.
