Vijayawada: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has been honored with the prestigious Gold Award at the Andhra Pradesh State Energy Conservation Award 2024 competitions for excellence in energy conservation in the iron and steel sector. The award recognizes RINL’s outstanding initiatives in implementing energy-efficient measures and harnessing waste energy over the past three years.

The accolade was presented by Andhra Pradesh’s Special Chief Secretary (Energy), K. Vijayanand, during the Energy Conservation Week valedictory celebrations held recently in Vijayawada. Uttam Brahma, General Manager (Energy, Environment & Utilities), and VVVS Pulla Reddy, Deputy General Manager (Energy Management Department), accepted the award on behalf of RINL.
