Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government has announced midday meal provisions for Class 10 students during school holidays. Starting February 2 until March 10, the government has instructed the education department to ensure meals are provided on two second Saturdays and six Sundays falling within this period.
This initiative aims to support students preparing for their board examinations, ensuring they remain motivated and focused. The decision has been well received by students and parents alike, as it demonstrates the government’s commitment to student welfare.

Additionally, the state has implemented a 100-day plan to improve Class 10 pass rates. This includes personalized attention to students, extra classes, preparation sessions, and pre-final and grand tests aligned with the examination blueprint. Teachers have been instructed to conduct scheduled classes even on Sundays, as outlined in the action plan.
The education department has mandated schools to strictly follow this plan until March 10 to ensure students are adequately prepared for their exams. By extending midday meals and intensifying academic support, the Andhra Pradesh government is striving to enhance student performance and overall well-being.
