Amaravati: A meeting of the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, was held recently. After the meeting, Minister Parthasarathy shared the decisions made by the Cabinet with the media.

The Cabinet approved the recruitment of 71 posts in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and 96 posts to strengthen the ministers’ offices. Approval was also given for releasing Rs 11.51 crore to purchase e-PoS machines for new ration shops.

The Cabinet agreed to conduct elections for irrigation associations and decided to cancel the reverse tendering process, returning to the previous tendering method. The Cabinet also approved the resumption of work on the Polavaram Left Canal.

Additionally, the Cabinet resolved to dissolve the Special Enforcement Bureau and remove photos of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and political party logos from 21.86 lakh pattadar passbooks, replacing them with the official government emblem.
