AMARAVATI: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is spearheading various initiatives to drive Andhra Pradesh towards development. In line with these efforts, a major announcement has been made benefiting women across the state.

The recently established TDP government is focusing on public welfare, with CM Chandrababu Naidu making decisions aimed at improving the lives of ordinary citizens and attracting large-scale investments.

Andhra Pradesh women get major financial boost in form of loans

Dvara KGFS, a rural non-banking financial services company, is set to commence operations in Andhra Pradesh. The company will provide extensive non-banking financial services in rural areas, specifically offering microloans to women to promote economic self-sufficiency.

Dvara KGFS has secured $10 million (approximately Rs 83 crores) from Global Gender-Smart Fund Portfolio Manager Triple Jump to support its expansion in the state. This investment will strengthen the company’s financial resources and enable them to provide substantial financial assistance to women in Andhra Pradesh.

Dvara KGFS MD and CEO, LVLN Murthy, stated that this expansion brings the company’s services to 11 states across India, with plans to extend further in the near future. This initiative is expected to significantly contribute to the economic empowerment of women in Andhra Pradesh.
