Guntur: Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) officials in Guntur district seized a large quantity of marijuana. Acting on a tip-off, the SEB conducted vehicle checks at the Kaja Toll Gate in Mangalagiri Mandal.
During the operation, police intercepted two cars illegally transporting marijuana from Visakhapatnam to Tamil Nadu. The authorities arrested five suspects and seized 230 kilograms of marijuana from their possession.
The SEB officials revealed that the five individuals, all from various parts of Tamil Nadu, had been smuggling marijuana from Visakhapatnam for some time.
The raid was conducted today following confirmed information about the transportation of the illegal substance.
