Music director MM Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose were felicitated by the Telangana governor Tamilisai Soundararajan. On Republic Day, January 26, the Telangana government honored both of them for their stupendous work in the film RRR. They made India proud with the song Naatu Naatu which won Golden Globe Awards and also won nominations for the Oscars.
The Indian government the other day recognized the services of MM Keeravani with Padma Shri. The felicitation event happened at the Republic Day event in Hyderabad. Speaking after receiving the honor, MM Keeravani shared his happiness. “This achievement is not mine alone, its an achievement of all my mentors, brothers and supporters (sic).”
