Prime Minister Narendra Modi is supposed to visit Hyderabad on January 19th and that one has been now postponed. He was supposed to flag off Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat train apart from starting/laying foundation stones for several developmental works.

Union Minister for Tourism and Culture G Kishan Reddy updated the information he received from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) about the postponement. Telangana BJP Bandi Sanjay stated that the fresh date for the revisit will be updated very soon. Modi was supposed to lay foundation stones for several projects worth Rs. 7,000 Crores.

Narendra Modi was supposed to launch the works of the Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar Railway doubling line of 85 km which was worth Rs. 1,410 crores. He was also supposed to unveil projects worth Rs. 2,597 crores at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad.

Modi was also supposed to lay the foundation stone for the Rs 513 crore project of the Nizampet-Narayankhed-Bidar section of NH-161B.
