It is well known that Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been arrested by the AP CID in connection with the Skill Development Scam. AP CID is stating that they have solid proof faulting CBN has committed an organized financial crime and have attached several other TDP leaders.
The arrest of CBN sparked a huge roar in the Telugu States. The TDP cadre is opposing the move and has held statewide protests. The opposition came in unison condemning the way the arrest had been made.
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, YSRCP Rebel MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju, AP Congress head Purandhareswari, Nandamuri Balakrishna, CPI Narayana, Raghavendra Rao, and others have strongly opposed the arrest and said that the move has been unconstitutional. They stated that the move was a mockery of democracy. They said that the government mishandled Mr. Naidu’s arrest.
