The National Investigation Agency today placed its arguments before the special court in regard to the Kodi Kathi case. It is known that the case was transferred to the NIA after the initial investigation. YS Jagan, the then opposition leader was attacked at the Vizag airport with a ‘Kodi Kathi’. YS Jagan was treated for a brief period at a private hospital in Hyderabad and the accused Srinivasa Rao was languishing in jail since then.

After hearing arguments from both sides, the NIA court has summoned the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy to make his personal appearance as his statement is extremely crucial to solving the case. This is not the first time that the YS Jagan was summoned but Jagan did not attend the court at least once.

Jagan’s personal assistant (PA) Nageswara Reddy, Assistant Commander of Central Reserve Police Force Dinesh Kumar, and eye witnesses today attended the court and placed their arguments before the court. The next hearing is adjourned for March 14th.
