Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu has announced the Nellore Urban MLA candidate for the upcoming elections. CBN made this announcement in a party’s internal meeting. He revealed that Former Educationalist Ponguru Narayana is going to contest the Nellore Urban constituency from the Telugu Desam Party.
Narayana used to be the key person backdoor for the party before 2014. After coming into power, CBN made Narayana MLC and then inducted him into the cabinet. He was given the key MA & UD Ministry. He was the in-charge of the Amaravathi construction as well.
However, after coming to power, YS Jagan targeted Narayana with cases. Amid all these, there were speculations that Narayana will move to BJP to escape the cases. But with the CBN’s announcement, it is clear that Narayana is going to fight against the cases staying in TDP.
