The Mumbai traffic police received a threat message from a Pakistani number stating that a terrorist attack in the model of the “26/11 terror attacks”. The messages were sent to the Mumbai traffic police’s helpline number. The sender stated that the attacks will be executed soon in different parts of Mumbai City just like the case of 26/11 to revive the memories.

Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar told additional details about this message. “Last night at around 11:35 PM some messages of terror threat was received in one of the Mumbai traffic control room’s phone numbers. The initial investigation revealed that the number is from a Pakistani,” he said. The sender revealed that few persons in India are helping him to carry out the attack.

Vivek Phansalkar ruled out any potential threat of attack. However, an investigation is being carried out on the message received. The Police are trying to trace the sender.
