Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to a review meeting regarding the COVID situation in the country. The reports that the new COVID variant has entered the nation are creating panic. The high-level meeting was called for after four new COVID variant cases got registered in India. It is known that Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, the other day reviewed the situation and called the nation to follow the COVID protocols in crowded places.
The nation has today recorded 185 new COVID-positive cases and also 1 death in the period which takes the total toll to 5,30,681 as per the report.
It is further updated that the active cases in the country as of today stand at 3,402 cases which accounts for 0.01 percent of the country’s total positive cases. A total of 190 patients got recovered from COVID in the last 24 hours.
