Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s mother Heeraben Modi has been rushed to the hospital as her health deteriorated. Heeraben turned 99 in June this year. UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre issued a statement regarding her health. The centre stated that the health is stable. Further information hasn’t been revealed by the hospital.
Gujarat MLAs Darshanaben Vaghela and Kaushik Jain from the BJP have reached the hospital and enquired about the condition. State BJP chief C R Paatil and Chief Principal Secretary to Gujarat Chief minister Bhupendra Patel have also arrived at the hospital. Narendra Modi shares a very special bonding with his mother. He visits her every year at the time of her birthday.
Heeraben lives with her youngest son Pankaj, a retired Gujarat government official. The last time Narendra Modi met her mother was on December 4th a day before he cast his vote for the second phase of the Gujarat assembly elections.
