Karnataka Congress leader, Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, DK Shivakumar played a key role in Congress winning the assembly elections in the state. The win in Karnataka pumped enough enthusiasm in Telangana Congress leaders. It is said that DK Shivakumar is now actively involved in Telangana politics too. He is considered the “troubleshooter” and many Telangana leaders recently met him.
The latest one includes MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy who met DK Shivakumar regarding the inclusions in Congress. It is known that DK Shivakumar is behind senior leaders Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Jupalli Krishna Rao’s inclusion in the party. Also, YS Sharmila met Shivakumar a couple of times already and it is said that she was offered a Rajya Sabha seat.
Coming to Komatireddy, he met DK Shivakumar in Bangalore and reportedly discussed the inclusions in the party, also the speculations are that Komatireddy discussed bringing back his brother Rajgopal Reddy to Congress. Komatireddy recently stated to the media that he is going to invite everyone to the party.
