Hyderabad: KK Surveys, which made waves by accurately predicting the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections 2024, has faced a setback with its recent predictions for Haryana.
In Andhra Pradesh, while many agencies forecast a TDP+ alliance win, only KK Surveys predicted the alliance winning over 160 seats. The final result showed the alliance winning 164 out of 175 seats, giving the survey agency huge credibility.

However, KK Surveys’ exit poll for the Haryana elections has missed the mark. Their prediction suggested that BJP would lose two out of every three seats they contested, but current trends show BJP forming the government for the third consecutive time. This sudden misstep has sparked discussions on social media, with people questioning whether their Andhra Pradesh success was just a fluke.
Some speculate that survey agencies may perform better in their home region but struggle when predicting results elsewhere. Even national survey agencies predicted a Congress win in Haryana, only to get it wrong.
