Telangana TDP president Kasani Gnaneshwar and Telangana TDP Political Affairs Co-ordinator Kambhampati Rammohan Rao on Tuesday urged people of Telangana to make the meeting, which will be held on Wednesday at Khammam, a grand success.
Speaking to media persons at NTR Bhavan here in Hyderabad, TDP leader Jnaneshwar said various programmes will be held on a grand scale as part of the meeting at Khammam. TDP cadre from the neighbouring districts including Khammam will attend the meeting in large numbers. “Telugu Desam Party National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu will embark on a road journey from his residence on Wednesday morning and will reach the venue at Khammam by noon,” he said. “On the way to the venue, Chandrababu Naidu garu will pay rich tributes to the newly-installed statues of TDP founder late NT Rama Rao and architect of Indian Constitution B.R. Ambedkar. The meeting, which will be held on a massive scale, will bring back the lost glory to the Telugu Desam Party in Telangana. All sections of people should attend the public meeting and make it a massive success. Telangana people knew about the development that NT Rama Rao garu and Chandrababu Naidu garu did in the State. These two leaders from TDP had strived for the welfare of BCs. People of Telangana are aware of the development that took place during the TDP regime in Telangana region. They will always support the good cause,” said the TDP leader.
Gnaneshwar has further said that TDP will always encourage to infuse young blood into its party fold. “New cadres will be observed in the party. Post the meeting at Khammam, public meetings will be held in Nizamabad, Mahbubnagar, Warangal and various other districts. A massive meeting similar to ‘Simha Garjana’ will be held at the end in Hyderabad city.”
Kambhampati Rammohan Rao reiterated that TDP always stood with the poor and marginalised sections in the society. “Party is founded for the welfare of Telugu people. The development taken by the TDP party is seen in every village, town and city in the State. Chandrababu Naidu is the brand ambassador of Information Technology. The seed that he sowed long back has become a massive tree now. Take the example of Indian School of Business, or the bustling city of Cyberabad or the Genome Valley, all because of Chandrababu Naidu’s infrastructure planning. Anyone who is attracted to the Telugu Desam Party’s ideology is welcome into the party. This meeting at Khammam is aimed at bringing awareness to the youth on welfare activities of TDP and make them part of the development. The Khammam public will certainly infuse young blood into the party,” said Kambhampati Rammohan Rao. Former MLA Katragada Prasuna, Telangana TDP State General Secretary Sheik Arif and TDP leader Atluri Subbarao were present.
