Hyderabad: Former Telangana Chief Minister and BRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) has predicted byelections in constituencies where MLAs have defected to other parties. Speaking at Erravalli Farmhouse, KCR asserted that the people of Telangana will teach defectors a lesson in the upcoming elections.

He specifically mentioned the Station Ghanpur constituency, stating that a byelection is inevitable there. KCR confidently predicted that Kadiyam Srihari will lose, and Tatikonda Rajaiah will be re-elected as MLA.

In a major political development, former Station Ghanpur MLA Tatikonda Rajaiah met KCR at Erravalli Farmhouse and pledged his loyalty to the BRS. Along with him, Dharamsagar’s former ZPTC member Keerthi Venkateshwarulu and several other leaders also joined the party under KCR’s leadership.

The BRS is planning a large-scale induction event on February 15 at Telangana Bhavan, where nearly 1,000 members from the Station Ghanpur constituency will formally join the party in the presence of BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR).

With political tensions rising, BRS is preparing for key byelections, reinforcing its presence in Telangana amid recent defections.
